Restaurant Manager


We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Almada. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Hire, train, and manage restaurant staff
- Create schedules for staff and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide feedback and address any concerns or issues
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items or specials based on customer preferences
- Monitor sales performance and make adjustments as needed to meet revenue targets

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including food safety regulations, inventory management, and customer service standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of organization and attention to detail
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle complaints or difficult situations professionally
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary:
1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
