We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Almada. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems. Your role will involve working closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models for various use cases.
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Work with large datasets to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
- Utilize various programming languages such as Python, Java, or R to build machine learning models.
- Optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning and feature engineering.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present findings and recommendations from the machine learning models.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in machine learning techniques.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms using Python, Java or R.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets using SQL or other database tools.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Almada, Portugal

Type: Full-time (with accommodation option available)
