Cashier - Entry Level

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions and providing excellent customer service. Your main duties will include scanning items, processing payments, and issuing receipts. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all items are properly stocked and priced. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Scan items accurately and efficiently
- Process payments using various methods (cash, credit/debit cards)
- Issue receipts and provide correct change when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Ensure all items are properly stocked and priced
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Follow all cash handling procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to meet sales goals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required

Salary: $1700 per month
