Excavator Operator - Oslo, Norway


We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and load materials on construction sites. Your main duties will include operating the excavator safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment, and following all safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience operating excavators and a valid heavy equipment operator license. You should have a strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and attention to detail are also essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, holes, and foundations according to blueprints
- Load and move materials such as dirt, rocks, sand, or debris using the excavator
- Perform regular maintenance on the equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols while operating the excavator
- Communicate with other construction workers to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep records of daily operations including fuel usage, materials moved, and hours worked

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators on construction sites
- Valid heavy equipment operator license
- Ability to read blueprints and follow directions accurately
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in a construction environment
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are an asset)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per week. Other benefits such as health insurance may also be included depending on experience level.
