Loader Operator

As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load and unload materials onto trucks and other vehicles. This role requires physical strength and agility, as well as the ability to operate specialized equipment with precision and care. You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and safe loading of materials, while following all safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, forklifts, and skid steers to load and unload materials onto trucks or other vehicles
- Maneuver equipment in tight spaces with precision and care to avoid damage or accidents
- Inspect machinery before use, reporting any issues to management for maintenance or repair
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate protective gear at all times
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient loading of materials onto vehicles in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers to coordinate loading schedules and ensure proper placement of materials on vehicles
- Monitor material levels on site to ensure timely delivery of necessary materials for loading
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Complete necessary paperwork related to loading activities accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience required
- Minimum 2 years experience operating heavy machinery, preferably loaders
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair procedures for heavy equipment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day
- Strong communication skills, able to effectively communicate with team members and truck drivers
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for completing necessary paperwork related to loading activities
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
