Seasonal Executive Chef in Kolding, Denmark
We are currently hiring a skilled and passionate Executive Chef for a seasonal position in Kolding, Denmark. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service is provided to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels within budget
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or menus
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume establishment
- Proficient in menu planning, food costing, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Creative mindset with a passion for using fresh, local ingredients
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of Danish cuisine
- Experience working in a seasonal or remote location
