Sales Manager - Hotel (Alta, Norway)
We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to join our team at a luxurious hotel in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through effective sales strategies and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the hotel
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other key players in the industry to increase bookings
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
- Handle negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Attend networking events and trade shows to promote the hotel's services
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of market trends and competition in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work irregular hours when necessary
