IT Manager


The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the technology operations of our company in Vejle. As an experienced IT professional, you will lead a team to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of our company's technology systems. This role requires a strong understanding of information technology, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all technology systems including hardware, software, networks, and security
- Develop and implement technology strategies to support company goals
- Identify areas for improvement in technology processes and make recommendations for enhancements
- Lead the IT team in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely resolutions
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their technology needs and provide solutions
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain data security protocols
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology products and services
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration into the company's operations
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or data breaches

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology management roles
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, networks, and security protocols
- Proven experience in developing and implementing technology strategies that align with business objectives
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience managing a team of IT professionals with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-tech personnel

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience working in a contract job setting
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
