Interpreter (Danish-English)
As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and effective interpretation services between Danish and English speakers. You will work with individuals or groups in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings. Your role will involve listening to the speaker's message, understanding it, and then interpreting it accurately to the intended audience in the target language. This requires strong language skills in both Danish and English, as well as cultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality interpretation services between Danish and English speakers
- Accurately convey the meaning of spoken words, idioms, and cultural nuances
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Use specialized vocabulary in both languages related to various industries or topics
- Adapt to different speaking styles and adjust interpretation techniques accordingly
- Act as a cultural mediator when necessary to facilitate effective communication
- Clarify any misunderstandings or uncertainties during the interpretation process

Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in both Danish and English
- Previous experience in interpretation is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and pleasant speaking voice
- Strong active listening skills and ability to concentrate for extended periods of time
- Cultural knowledge and sensitivity to effectively interpret between different languages/cultures
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Own visa or eligibility to work in Vejle

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Vejle, Denmark. However, we are open to candidates who have their own visa or are eligible to work in Vejle.
