Merchandiser - Entry Level


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Merchandiser to join our company in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing product displays and ensuring that our merchandise is properly stocked and presented in-store. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create attractive product displays according to company guidelines
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly stocked and priced
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages to management
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative merchandising ideas
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards
- Build positive relationships with store managers and staff
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients in-store

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or visual merchandising preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Biometric passport or Canadian citizenship preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
