Land Surveyor Assistant

We are currently seeking a Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Faro, Portugal on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone without experience in the field, but with a strong desire to learn and grow within the profession. As an assistant, you will work closely with our experienced land surveyors to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting land surveys using various tools and equipment
- Collect and analyze data from surveys
- Prepare maps, charts, and reports based on survey data
- Support senior surveyors in project planning and execution
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while on site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with surveying tools such as total stations and GPS receivers is a plus
- Valid work visa for Portugal (if not a Portuguese national)

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Location:
The job will be based in Faro, Portugal.

Accommodation will not be provided by the company, so candidates should have their own housing arrangements in place.

Visa:
Candidates must have a valid work visa for Portugal or be eligible to obtain one on their own.
