As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and equipment used in the restaurant. You will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment, as well as assist with basic food preparation tasks. This is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the culinary industry. This position is located in Svalbard and offers a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation is not provided, but we offer assistance in finding suitable housing. Visa and ticket expenses will be covered by the company. This is an urgent job opportunity with immediate availability.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area including sinks, counters, floors and walls
- Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized before use
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or preparing sauces
- Refill cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Communicate any issues or concerns regarding equipment or cleanliness to management
- Work efficiently to keep up with high volume of dirty dishes during peak hours

Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds
- Basic understanding of food hygiene practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be flexible with working hours including weekends and holidays

Preferred:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred but not required
