IT Support Specialist


We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As the IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our users, troubleshooting computer and network issues, and maintaining our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users via phone, email, and in person
- Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
- Assist with data backup and recovery processes
- Train new employees on basic computer skills and company technology policies
- Document all technical support activities in a timely manner

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role as an IT Support Specialist or similar position
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, hardware, and software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Alta, Norway. We provide accommodation for our employees if needed.
