Junior Architectural Technologist

Our architectural firm in Alta is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architectural Technologist to join our team. As a Junior Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with our experienced architects and designers to assist in the creation of architectural plans and drawings for various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the field of architecture.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of architectural plans, drawings, and specifications
- Conduct research on building materials, construction methods, and building codes
- Prepare detailed 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with architects and designers to develop creative solutions for design challenges
- Attend client meetings and site visits as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Familiarity with BIM software (ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, etc.)
