Senior PHP Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in Faroe-Islands. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable web applications using PHP and other relevant technologies. You must have at least 5 years of experience in web development and be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Knowledge of frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting web applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Maintaining existing codebase and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Staying updated on the latest industry trends and best practices in web development
- Ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of all developed applications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional web development
- Expertise in PHP programming language and its frameworks
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
