Contract Teacher in Almada


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Contract Teacher to join our team in Almada. As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Deliver lessons effectively to students of varying ages and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other relevant information
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child's progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching techniques
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (teaching certification preferred)
- Previous teaching experience is not required, but some experience working with children is preferred
- Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching methods and styles as needed
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Almada without sponsorship
