Our busy coffee shop in Mombasa is seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving delicious coffee beverages to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires someone with a passion for coffee, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages
- Maintain the cleanliness of the coffee bar and equipment
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions with care
- Ensure all products are made to company standards and quality control measures are followed
- Upsell additional products or add-ons to increase sales
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and brewing methods
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different brewing methods, latte art, and specialty coffee drinks is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must have legal authorization to work in Mombasa without sponsorship
