Waiter/Waitress at a Restaurant in Svalbard


We are hiring a friendly and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a restaurant in Svalbard. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to our customers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions or concerns from customers
- Ensure that all orders are accurate, timely, and presented beautifully
- Handle cash transactions and accurately process payments using POS systems
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, utensils, and floors
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures while handling food and beverages
- Attend to any additional requests or needs from customers to ensure their satisfaction

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional language is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
