Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing hotel revenue and occupancy through strategic sales and marketing efforts. You will work closely with the hotel's management team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and maintain relationships with existing clients. This position requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Cultivate relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Collaborate with the hotel's management team to create attractive packages and promotions
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote the hotel's services
- Conduct site visits for potential clients and negotiate contracts
- Monitor competitors' rates and offerings to remain competitive in the market
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or related role
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of revenue management principles
- Familiarity with various booking channels (online travel agencies, corporate bookings)
Location: Herning (no accommodation provided)
Salary: $1500 per month
