A reputable construction company in Faroe-Islands is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, including furniture, cabinets, and building frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent carpentry skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine materials required
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, framing squares, or marking gauges
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws
- Assemble prepared wood products according to specifications using hand and power tools
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware using carpenter's hand tools
- Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and ensure quality standards are met

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including installation of fixtures such as windows, frames & doors
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documents
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials if required

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational diploma/certificate in Carpentry or related field is preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Faroe-Islands. Candidates from other countries are welcome to apply but must be willing to relocate.
