Network and Systems Administrator for Part-Time Position in Horsens, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, and includes accommodation as well as free visa and ticket for non-Danish nationals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network and system administration, with experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's computer systems and networks. Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot network issues reported by users or detected by monitoring tools
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency
- Conduct regular backups of critical systems and data
- Perform system updates and upgrades as needed
- Provide technical support to users on hardware or software issues
- Develop and maintain documentation on network configurations, processes, procedures
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan for future growth of the network infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in network/systems administration role
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking protocols (TCP/IP), routing/switching technologies (BGP/EIGRP)
- Experience with virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues quickly
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus
