English-Speaking Babysitter for Canadian Family in Nairobi


We are seeking a reliable and experienced babysitter to care for our children while we are living in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a contract job for a period of 6 months, suitable for men or women. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of our children at all times
- Plan and prepare meals and snacks for the children
- Help with homework and school assignments
- Engage in age-appropriate activities such as games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines and schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents about their children's day

Requirements:
- Must have previous experience caring for children
- Fluent in English (French language skills would be an asset)
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have excellent communication skills

Salary:
We are offering a salary of 1500$ per month, based on experience and qualifications.
