Excavator Operator


We are currently hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth, rock and other materials. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators and possess a valid biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavators in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks on equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Ensure proper care and storage of equipment at the end of each shift
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Excavate, load and move materials according to job site requirements

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators
- Must hold a valid biometric passport
- Knowledge of excavation techniques and equipment maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong communication skills in English
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, bend, lift and operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. The working hours may vary depending on project demands. This job does not include accommodation or part-time options.
