Executive Chef for High-End Restaurant in Mauren
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at a high-end restaurant in Mauren, catering to a sophisticated and international clientele. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative menus that showcase the best of local and international cuisine, while ensuring exceptional quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and seasonal menus that meet the high standards and preferences of our customers
- Manage food inventory, production, and cost control to maintain profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and purchasing decisions
- Oversee food presentation to ensure each dish meets our aesthetic standards
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Foster a positive work culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Ability to create innovative menus using fresh ingredients
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of food cost control measures
- Proficient in English (German is a plus)
Salary: 1800$ per month
