Courier Supervisor

As a Courier Supervisor in Funchal, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our courier services and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of packages. You will work closely with our team of couriers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all deliveries are made accurately and on time. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of couriers, providing training and support as needed
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor delivery routes and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency
- Communicate with clients to address any concerns or issues with deliveries
- Oversee the loading and unloading of packages onto delivery vehicles
- Ensure that all packages are properly labeled and sorted for accurate delivery
- Handle any customer complaints or inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking numbers, times, and signatures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or management preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in courier services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods in Funchal
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license
