Surveyor Assistant


We are in need of a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Surveyor Assistant in Isa Town. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We welcome applicants of any gender and nationality, however, having a biometric passport is preferred.

As a Surveyor Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the surveyor in conducting land surveys and collecting data for various projects. You will also be responsible for maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment, as well as preparing reports and maps based on survey findings.

To excel in this role, you should have strong mathematical skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in land surveying is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the surveyor in conducting land surveys using various tools and equipment
- Collect data and measurements accurately
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment
- Prepare reports and maps based on survey findings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on site

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college education preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Physical fitness to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with surveying tools such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser levels is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position.
