Contract Architectural Designer


Our architecture firm in Lisbon is seeking a talented and experienced Contract Architectural Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for various projects, ranging from residential to commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts that meet their requirements
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD or similar software
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure designs are compliant with local laws
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure design feasibility and accuracy
- Present design proposals to clients for approval
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Architectural Designer, preferably in a contract setting
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other design software
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a contract position without accommodation provided. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Lisbon.
