Facade Engineer

As a Facade Engineer in Monte-Carlo, you will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining the exterior of buildings. This includes creating aesthetically pleasing facades that are also functional and safe. You will use your expertise in materials, construction techniques and building codes to ensure that the facade meets structural requirements and can withstand environmental factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop facades for new construction projects, considering factors such as aesthetics, safety, functionality and cost.
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate existing facades and provide recommendations for improvements or repairs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure that facade designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
- Create detailed plans, drawings and specifications for facade construction.
- Select appropriate materials for the facade based on durability, cost-effectiveness and aesthetic appeal.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure that the facade is being built according to design plans and specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed facades to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry developments, new materials and technologies related to facade design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture with a focus on facades.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Facade Engineer.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations and standards related to facades.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
