Skilled Turner in Eldoret, Kenya


We are a well-established manufacturing company in Eldoret, Kenya looking for a skilled and experienced Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our lathes and other machinery to produce high-quality metal components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery
- Interpret technical drawings to determine proper machining methods and dimensions
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machines for any malfunctions or errors, troubleshooting as needed
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and using precision measuring tools
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastic
- Ability to operate various machinery including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality products
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position.
