We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Merchandiser to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are displayed and promoted effectively in various retail stores. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences, and use your creativity to design eye-catching displays that drive sales. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$, and we offer free visa and ticket for international candidates without prior experience.

Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned retail stores to set up and maintain product displays
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the sales team
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective promotions and marketing strategies
- Use visual merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that highlight product features and benefits
- Ensure compliance with company standards for product placement, pricing, and signage
- Build strong relationships with store managers and staff to ensure our products receive prime placement in-store
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and buying behavior to inform future merchandising decisions

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in marketing or related field is a plus
- Proven experience in retail or visual merchandising preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills; ability to build rapport with store managers and staff
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail; able to design visually appealing displays that drive sales
- Basic understanding of marketing principles; able to contribute ideas for promotions and campaigns
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed
