Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Faroe Islands
Salary: $1200 per month (without accommodation)


We are currently seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Faroe Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our network and computer systems to ensure smooth operations for our company.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure security measures are in place to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords for all network systems
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Backup and restore data as needed
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and make recommendations for improvements to our network infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
- Experience with Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
