Body Repair Master
The Body Repair Master will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This role requires a skilled and experienced individual who is able to use a variety of tools and techniques to successfully repair vehicles. The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and diagnosing damage on vehicles
- Creating a plan for repairs based on vehicle make, model, and extent of damage
- Removing damaged parts and repairing or replacing them
- Straightening bent frames or panels using specialized tools
- Welding and soldering damaged areas
- Sanding, priming, and painting repaired areas to match the original color
- Inspecting repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards
- Keeping track of inventory and ordering necessary supplies
- Providing estimates for repairs to customers or insurance companies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in body repair
- Extensive knowledge of various makes and models of vehicles
- Strong technical skills in welding, painting, and using specialized tools
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills with ability to explain repairs to customers in a clear manner
Location: This position is located in Bergen, Norway. Preference will be given to candidates who are already residing in Bergen or willing to relocate.
Salary: The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
