Indian Pastry Chef in Sofia, Bulgaria


We are in search of a highly skilled and creative Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a pastry chef, you will be responsible for preparing and creating a variety of pastries and desserts using traditional Indian flavors and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Create and present traditional Indian desserts and pastries such as Gulab Jamun, Kulfi, Jalebi, etc.
- Develop new recipes and innovative dessert ideas with a fusion of Indian and European flavors.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and meets customer expectations.
- Train and lead the pastry team to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies required for pastry production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to all food safety standards.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian desserts.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Indian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Creativity in developing new recipes while maintaining authenticity.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of Bulgarian is a plus.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month along with other benefits such as health insurance, paid vacation days, etc.
