Data Mining Analyst



We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Braga, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns and trends that will drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data mining and analytics, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided, so candidates must have their own visa and be able to work independently. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
- Use data mining techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and trends
- Create statistical models and algorithms to analyze data and make predictions
- Communicate findings through reports, visualizations, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights
- Continuously monitor data quality and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is preferred
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Braga, Portugal.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position for an initial period of 6 months.
