Interpreter (Arabic/English) - Aalborg, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled and professional Interpreter to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate interpretations between Arabic and English for various clients and situations.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and clear interpretation services in Arabic and English for clients
- Act as a cultural mediator to ensure effective communication between parties
- Prepare for interpreting assignments by researching relevant terminology and familiarizing yourself with the subject matter
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Document any necessary information accurately during interpreting sessions
- Adhere to ethical standards and codes of conduct for interpreters
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide the best possible service

Requirements:
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages (spoken and written)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and speaking clearly and concisely
- Strong cultural competency, including understanding of cultural differences in communication styles
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and remain calm under stress
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of translation software is a plus

Salary: 1500$ per month (without accommodation)

Location: This position is based in Aalborg, Denmark. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Denmark.
