Head Baker - Fonvieille, Monaco
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Baker to join our team in Fonvieille, Monaco. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of all baked goods for our bakery. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of bakers and assistants in the production of various baked goods such as breads, pastries, and cakes
- Create and develop new recipes and products while ensuring quality and consistency
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery at all times
- Train new team members on baking techniques and uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of baked goods to our customers
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for menu updates or changes
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a baker, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes and adapt to customer preferences
- Good communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
