Entry-level Librarian in Lom, Canada


We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-level Librarian in Lom, Canada. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about books, learning and customer service to kick-start their career in the field of library science.

As an entry-level librarian, your main responsibility will be to assist patrons with finding materials, checking items in and out, managing holds and requests, and providing basic reference services. You will also be responsible for maintaining the organization of the library's collection, shelving materials, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the library.

This position requires excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with patrons of all ages and backgrounds. A friendly demeanor and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. While previous experience is not required, a strong interest in library science or previous experience working or volunteering in a library setting will be considered an asset.
