Contract Accountant (Faro, Portugal)


We are seeking an experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a contract accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve profitability
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Reconcile bank statements and perform month-end close procedures
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. Candidates must already have their own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal.
