Job Title: Merchandising Coordinator
As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and improve customer experience. You will work closely with the merchandising team to analyze market trends, identify new product opportunities, and develop promotional plans. Your main goal is to ensure that our products are visually appealing, well-stocked, and effectively promoted in our stores.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop and implement product strategies
- Monitor market trends and consumer preferences to identify new product opportunities
- Conduct research on competitors' products and pricing
- Develop promotional plans to drive sales and increase brand awareness
- Work with vendors to negotiate pricing and secure inventory
- Create visual displays that showcase our products in an attractive way
- Ensure that all products are properly stocked and displayed in-store
- Track inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product placement and pricing
- Train store employees on proper merchandising techniques to maintain brand standards
- Attend trade shows or conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or retail management
- Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Creative eye for visual displays
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Flexibility to travel for trade shows or conferences
Salary: $1500 per month
Location: US (biometric passport required)
