Cashier - Shan, India



We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team in Shan, India. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. They should also be comfortable working with numbers and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases
- Scan items and process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Calculate total costs of items purchased including taxes, discounts, and other applicable fees
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Answer customer questions about products or services
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Handle returns or exchanges in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management when products need to be restocked

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of local language is a plus)
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Customer-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1200$ per month.
