Caregiver for Elderly in Almada, Portugal


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide excellent care for elderly individuals in Almada, Portugal. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring the well-being of our elderly clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in caregiving and a strong understanding of the physical and emotional needs of elderly individuals.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to our elderly clients
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions
- Monitor changes in health and report any concerns to the appropriate medical professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients
- Accompany clients on outings or appointments as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably with elderly individuals
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred
- Must be physically able to assist with lifting, bending, and other physical tasks as needed
- Ability to speak Portuguese is an asset

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. The working hours may vary depending on the needs of our clients but will typically be during weekdays.
