Part-Time Back-End Developer


We are in need of a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the server-side logic of our web applications. You will work closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration of the user interface and overall functionality. This position offers flexibility with working hours and the opportunity to work remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable and efficient server-side code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, Java, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with databases, web servers, and version control systems
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Good understanding of security principles and how they apply to web development
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
