Back-End Developer

A fast-paced startup in Faro is seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying web applications and services. You will work closely with our front-end developers and project managers to ensure that all features are implemented efficiently and accurately.

Salary: 1700$

Location: Faro, Portugal (Remote work is also available)

Experience Required:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Back-End Developer
- Proficient in coding with Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of server-side architecture and scalability

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing efficient back-end architectures for web applications
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into the application
- Developing server-side code for high-volume web applications
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in a timely manner
- Managing database structures and ensuring data security and integrity
- Participating in code reviews to maintain quality standards
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven track record of successful back-end development projects
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
