Location: Almada, Portugal



As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales team and developing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy. You will work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain high standards of service. You will also be responsible for building relationships with potential clients and maintaining existing relationships to secure future business. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in hotel sales. The ideal candidate should be organized, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy
- Manage the sales team and provide guidance, training, and support as needed
- Establish relationships with potential clients through networking events, trade shows, and other platforms
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain high standards of service
- Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify new opportunities for growth
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and potential leads
- Develop pricing strategies based on market demand and competition analysis
- Participate in budget planning meetings to set achievable sales targets

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
- Proven track record in hotel sales (minimum of 2 years)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving goals
- Experience in developing effective sales strategies
- Knowledge of market trends and competitors' activities in the hospitality industry
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals successfully
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary: 1000$ per month.

This position does not require prior experience, but candidates with previous hotel sales experience will be given preference. Accommodation and visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate.
