Entry-Level Mason

As an entry-level Mason, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction, maintenance, and repair of structures made of brick, stone, and other materials. You will work closely with experienced masons to learn the trade and develop your skills. This is a physically demanding job that requires lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials
- Mix mortar and assist in laying bricks and stones according to blueprints or instructions
- Use hand tools to cut, shape, and polish materials
- Clean and repair existing structures by removing damaged materials
- Assist in the installation of insulation or waterproofing when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to learn from experienced masons
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required

Salary: The starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.
