Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and loading. You will work with a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Read and interpret construction plans
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks
- Complete projects within specified time frames and budget requirements

Requirements:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit to operate heavy machinery for long periods of time

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Faro, Portugal
