Contract Carpenter in Greenland

We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Greenland on a contract basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$, including free visa and ticket.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and furniture
- Repair or replace damaged woodwork using hand tools or power tools
- Inspect work for quality control and make necessary adjustments
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Strong understanding of different wood types and their uses
- Good time-management skills to meet project deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Carpentry or relevant field from a vocational school or apprenticeship program
- Experience working on construction sites
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Greenland
