Heavy Equipment Operator - Faroe Islands



The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to aid in the construction and maintenance of roads, buildings, and other structures in Faroe Islands. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an equipment operator, a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to move materials on construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Read construction plans and blueprints to determine the best approach for completing tasks
- Communicate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow
- Keep detailed records of daily operations and any issues with equipment
- Ensure all work is completed within designated time frames
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an equipment operator in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations and maintenance
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Salary:
$1500 per month
