Dietitian

As a Dietitian at our healthcare facility in La-Condamine, you will play a crucial role in promoting healthy lifestyles and providing nutrition support to our patients. Your main responsibility will be to assess the dietary needs of individuals and develop personalized meal plans to improve their health and well-being. You will also educate patients on proper nutrition and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting nutritional assessments to identify areas of concern and develop appropriate meal plans
- Providing individualized counseling sessions to patients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting meal plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care
- Educating patients on food safety, portion control, label reading, and other important nutrition topics
- Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and communicating with healthcare team as needed
- Staying up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
- Participating in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating habits

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice as a Dietitian in La-Condamine or willingness to obtain one upon employment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian or similar role
- Strong knowledge of principles of nutrition and ability to apply them in practice
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer software for dietary analysis
Salary: 1400$ per month with accommodation provided.
