Experienced Mechanic in Mombasa

A well-established automotive repair shop in Mombasa is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. We are specifically looking for candidates who have at least 5 years of experience as a mechanic and are knowledgeable in both diesel and gasoline engines.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to determine the cause of issues and provide accurate repair estimates
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify complex problems and make necessary repairs
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed on each vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their vehicle and any recommended repairs

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a mechanic
- Knowledgeable in both diesel and gasoline engines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-mechanical individuals
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
